    Lyrics:

The broken glass of a bottle makes a jagged rock bottom
And right now, I got two shaky hands only one way to stop ‘em
And I haven’t touched a drop in seven hours three minutes
Hardly sobered up already want to quit quittin’
Sweatin’ in an old church basement
    Wishin’ I was wasted
    Never thought I’d say this
    “Hello, my name is Jason”

    And I’ve been losing myself
    I’ve been losing my mind
And I’ve been standing in the rain just trying to stay dry
I was so ashamed to be in this seat ‘til I met a man who was twenty years clean
He said “Everybody here’s felt the same defeat
Nobody walks through these doors on a winning streak”

    Hold on, hold on
    Hold on, hold on

The broken man in the mirror can’t look at me ‘cause he’s guilty
And I swear that the last couple months that motherfucker tried to kill me
By the time I saw it coming it was done with already
It’s hard to run from it when it runs in the family
A problem with a thousand more it’s causing
    Damn, this shit’s exhausting
This is why I walked in
“Thanks for letting me share y’all “

    And I’ve been losing myself
    I’ve been losing my mind
And I’ve been standing in the rain just trying to stay dry
I was so ashamed to be in this seat ‘til I met a man who was twenty years clean
He said “Everybody here’s felt the same defeat
Nobody walks through these doors on a winning streak”

    Yeah-eh-eh
    Oo yeah-eh-eh

    I’m tired of being broken
    I’m sick of feeling hopeless
Way down here at my lowest
At the end of my rope
At the end of my rope
    So, what do I do?
    So, what do I do?
    What do I do?

    And I’ve been losing myself
    I’ve been losing my mind
And I’ve been standing in the rain just trying to stay dry
I was so ashamed to be in this seat ‘til I met a man who was twenty years clean
He said “Everybody here’s felt the same defeat
Nobody walks through these doors on a winning streak”

    Hold on, hold on
    Hold on, hold on

    1. I've seen Jelly Roll online/on TV, but haven't heard many of his songs until today when I clicked his new album on iTunes. A few days ago, I uploaded an hour-long deep dive video on my YouTube channel sharing with viewers how I finally stopped gambling for the past 3 years after a 29-year addiction. I uploaded it in hoping anyone who struggling with any addiction can use some of what helped me. Today, I clicked the preview of "Winning Streak" and immediately bought it. Melodically, musically, vocally, and lyrically it's a great song. Unfortunately, too many of us can relate all too well, but there is hope and it's nice to see so many people listing how long they have resisted their addiction/urges. If I can do it for 3 years, you can do it.

    2. You're on a winning streak Jason!! Listened to you on Joe Rogan about you feeling you don't deserve this at times. Step back and take it all in, you deserve all of this! Keep being your true humble self. This greatness is happening due to you wanting greatness for not only you but everyone around you. For that, this is your blessing 🙌 Proud of you!

    3. This album is just what the world needs right now. I wish my husband could have heard this album it might could have saved him, I tried too

    4. I have struggled with ED almost my whole life. It may not be a drink or drug, but eating disorders are so real. This hits home so hard! The weight loss program I am in is like this man who is 20 years clean. Thank you for writing this song.

    5. Recovering heroin addict with 4 years!!! This song goes out to all my brothers and sisters still sick and suffering!!! There is hope so hold on pain ends!!!
